Coca Cola Addiction
Everyone has heard the many stories about how coca cola initially had actual cocaine in it and all that jazz. Who knew those who used their soda coupons back then were getting drugs! But I digress, although the illegal substance has long since been removed from coca cola, some people still find themselves getting heavily addicted to the caffeine filled carbonated drink.
One friend of mine can simply not survive without his daily bottle of coke. His mother told me stories of how she used to get soda coupons in bulk to support her son’s habit. Now that he has moved out he is still drinking the same amount of coke, though. The first thing he does in the morning is pour himself a cup of coke.
He currently does not use soda coupons to support his heavy drinking habits, but that is because he thinks it is too feminine of an action. Sadly it is this sexist mentality that is making him waste $2.25 on a bottle of soda instead of only $1! I personally would take the soda coupons and run!
Better yet, I would cut back because drinking coca cola, as your only source of a drink just does not seem healthy in the slightest! But the funny thing is he is as healthy as a champion horse because all that extra sugar and caffeine wakes him up for the day ahead of him! Who knows, maybe we should all grab out soda coupons and start stoking up on the soda!
