Crispy Topped Power Oatmeal
Nothing warms your bones quite like a nice bowl of oatmeal, and now it will taste even better with a little help from Tony the tiger. So grab your Frosted Flakes Coupons and try out this spectacular recipe!
In order to make this crispy Topped Power Oatmeal all you need is:
1 ½ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
½ cup dried fruit bits or raisins
1-teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1/8-teaspoon salt
1 Egg
1 1/3 cups fat free milk
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/3 cups of Kellogg’s frosted flakes (make sure to use you frosted flakes coupons!)
Once you have all of the ingredients stir the rolled oats, fruit bits, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt in a large bowl. In a different bowl mix the egg, milk, brown sugar, oil and vanilla. Then slowly pour the second bowl into the bowl with the oats and mix it all together until everything is even. Then spoon out the oatmeal mix into custard cups and heat up at 400º uncovered for about 15 minutes. After 15 minutes generously sprinkle each bowl with frosted flakes and leave in for another 10 minutes. Before serving the oatmeal let it cool for a little so you don’t burn yourself. You can also add a little extra milk if you’d like to that way its more moist.
The oatmeal tastes amazing so give this amazing recipe a try! I loved it and I didn’t spend too much because I used my frosted flakes coupons to help save me some money!
