Broccoli Spaghetti
Grab your pasta coupons and some broccoli because this simple recipe is sure to be one you will be making again and again! Made with fresh broccoli it is the perfect healthy choice lunch, and it is flavored to perfection as well!
So grab your pasta coupons and head to the store to pick up the necessary ingredients:
1 pound spaghetti
½ pound broccoli
¼ cup olive oil
2 garlic cloves, thinly sliced
½ teaspoon salt
½ rotisserie chicken meat, shredded
Black pepper
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
Once you have gotten all of that you are ready to start cooking! Start by cooking the spaghetti. Once it is cooked drain all but ¼ cup of the cooking water. While the spaghetti is cooking cut off the broccoli stalk, peel it, and then thinly slice it. Next cut the heat of the broccoli into small florets.
After that heat 1/8 cup of oil in a skillet on medium heat. Once the skillet is hot add the broccoli, garlic, and ¼ teaspoon of salt and cook for approximately 4 minutes. After that, add in the past and water, chicken, the rest of the salt, and a bit of pepper and cook it all until it is hot (approximately 3 minutes).
